Laura's bright light is now sadly gone but never forgotten. Laura was a loving wife, mother, educator,& a friend to so many. For the brief time I was fortunate to know her, Laura was full of enthusiasm for her teaching and we discussed her "adventure" in bringing "Logan Home". I remember this story so vividly and how she had pretty much commandeered the US Senate to bring her and her baby boy home safely.

Her bravery was beyond commendable, on so many levels. I always admired, and even envied a little bit, her tremendous wardrobe and aret at accessorizing. She was beautiful in and out.
