Dear Laura's Family,
I am sorry to learn of Laura's passing. We attended Palisades together and were neighborhood friends. I was thinking of her tonight. I teach the second grade at Washington School in Palm Desert. I know that Leslie taught there before I got there. So tonight I searched "Laura and Leslie Leatherman." Needless to say - I'm shocked and saddened by my finding. My heart goes out to you all. I am so sorry to hear about Laura. I have fond memories of when the girls were young. She loved her children greatly and we are so sorry that you lost her at such a young age.

Sorry to hear about Laura. I knew her from tennis. She was such a nice kind person. She will be missed.
