LAURA CORINNE HURNI, 87, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Corinne is survived by two daughters, Colleen (Rick) Richter and Marcia (Ron) Tuttle; and a son, Rick (Susan) Hurni. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church, Hicksville, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Smith & Brown Funeral Home. Burial in Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville. Memorials may be made to the Huber Opera House or St. John Lutheran Church.

I am so sorry for your loss, words seem so inadequate. Our remnant members of Diapers to Diamonds (a chapter of Ohio Child Conservation League) are still getting together for lunch the 4th Wednesday of each month and Corinne enjoyed these times with us. Years ago we met every month when we all had young children at home, only to find out that our 2 year old was acting just like every one else's 2 year old.
