Sorry to hear of the loss of Carol. I have missed her walking with scotty around the neighborhood. She is with her beloved Charles now.

I met Carol when my daughter, Patti Whitfield Smith, was only two years old, and we became fast friends, with a friendship that has lasted all these many years. I will miss Carol but will remember with great fondness our many phone calls, emails, cards. Roll Tide for now, Carol, but will see you again one day. Love to your family, Betty.

Carol was like my second Mother growing up. I loved her and our many talks we had. She was always so kind. She will be greatly missed.

My Mom and I were so sad to hear that Carol had died. She was such a dear friend to my Mom and I am thankful that they were able to stay in touch over the years. God bless you all.
