All who knew her were blessed to have shared her existence. I went to school with her and was always impressed by her poise and kindness. Great sadness fell upon me when I read of her passing. She was one of those rare consistant people who I can say was a pure, blessed, kind and gentle spirit. My heart goes out to your family in this moment of great sadness for your loss. I have fond memories of her during the school years. She was a glowing spirit that always had a kind word and a contagious...

Dear Paul, Violet, Cindy, Fawn, LuAnn And family, I am so sorry to learn of Laura's passing. Richard and I just saw her obituary on channel 12 and so I looked it up on our computer. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. She was such a sweet, loving woman.

My thoughts are prayers are with the Labian family. I grew up in the same subdivision and have fond memories of all the children. In later years, when my mom was still living on Mark Drive, I had several talks with Laurie as she walked around the block and saw me helping out at my mom's house. Rest in peace Laurie.

Sincere sympathy and prayers to the Labian family. I saw Laurie many many times over the years at Bueches. I then saw her at assisted living when my grand daughters showed off their cheerleading routines for them one holiday. She was so thrilled and excited about the kids and made them feel special. Her cheerleading days made her relatable to them. Many smiles. The angels are holding her close. Mau you all have peace.

Mariane. Bueche Crumm

I do remember bumping into Laurie at Bueche's throughout the years. She always had a smile and a kind word to say. Her face would light up when I mentioned Tavo and my son David being good friends. Her sister spoke today how Laurie lived her faith and loved her family. Overall she demonstrated God's love in her life.

Dear Cindy, Fawn, Mr. and Mrs. Labian, Dr. LuAnn and Tavo(the soccer star). As a new resident of Flushing in 1964 my brothers and I had the privilege to know Laurie because we went to play in Labian Subdivision with Bob and Rick Kravetz. Laurie was so smart and beautiful but most of all kind and humorous. She was not my girlfriend but would always make me feel like she liked me as a person. We had a blast gathering as friends every time. Watching quarter-mile wheelies, playing hide and seek,...

Dear Labian family , although I won't be able to attend my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family !! God bless you all !!
