For Laura - First and foremost, you will be so missed. Missed by your long term friends, your new friends, your family, and your kitties -Triscot and Miss Molly. For me, a new friend during the past 14 months chatting and getting to know you, I respected your many accomplishments; a highly educated and experienced nurse who cared for our Veterans in need. It was not always easy but you hung in there and for that you are very respected! You cared for your parents, and for that you are respected as many do not step up with compassion and care. Over the past 14 months of calls, text messages, and emails (you always sent needed info), we got to know each other and talked a lot about our kitties and so much more. You were always there when I needed a caring person to talk with about some of my kitties when I was dealing with either saying goodbye or trying to save others. Your words of encouragement and wisdom truly helped. We had so many good chats while you were dealing with that broken leg and then health challenges. So sad that you are now gone and far to soon. Rest in peace now. You are with your parents that you loved dearly. You made them proud. I will not forget you and will think of you often. Your friend, Peggy

Remembering Laura. A friend to all she encountered. It's been years since we last saw each other, but I always remember you fondly, along with happy memories of our days together at U of R.
