Dear Laura and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss.

I am still so shocked and sad that my Aunt Laura has passed away that it is difficult to find the words to express how I feel. My heart goes out to Mike, LB, and John. My greatest sympathies to you all. I'll never forget Laura looking over her glasses at me while she was sowing something for someone, I'll never forget her hugs or her laugh. Everyone will miss her. She was impossible not to like because she was not afraid of imposing her love on you. She had a very strong positive personality, and had a great affect on everyone she knew. When you were around her she radiated energy and love. She is a great loss to everyone.

Don and I want to express our sympathy to your family on the loss of Laura. We have such great memories of our time together in Stillwater & Tulsa. What a neat surprise to run into your entire family in Branson last year. We tell that story a lot of how we just happened to be in the same place at the same time. We are so glad that it happened. Know that God will take care of you. We know that your heart is broken, but He will always be near.

There are no words for the sadness and longing that we desire to express to you. Aunt Laura was a wonderful person and a treasured support to us. I do not believe that I could find words beautiful and joyful enough to describe what she meant to me. She was a blessing and source of much happiness. She had let herself be shaped by God in so many ways that to be around her was to know Him better.

I wanted to let you know I am praying for your family. I loved Laura so much. She was like my 2nd mother when we lived in Naperville. Even after we moved, when we visited...I always stayed with Laura and Laura! I have pictures of us all wrestling on the bed during a sleepover...and pictures of us all through the years. I know Aaron thought of her as another mom too. I'll never forget being with her and your family and all the special memories. I love you...

Laura, your mom, was one of those wonderfull unique ladies. I loved her from the day I met her years ago at Aunt Tootsie and Uncle Hacks in Duncan OK when our family was visiting from Florida one summer. She was so beautiful, she could light up any dark room just by walking into it. Her smile was a smile that could melt steel. I feel so blessed I was able to spend time with Laura and our family at Branson MO for the family reunion a couple of years ago. ...

After going through our own personal tragedy, our hearts and prayers are with you all. Laura was a special woman to me. She was always there for a big hug when you needed it most. She was a very wise woman when it came to giving advice to me. I will treasure the time I knew her and the wonderful talks we had. I will miss her so very much.
