We would like to express our sympathy and condolences to Laura's family. We had the pleasure of working with her and Doug Hanscom many years ago when purchasing our home in Western Springs.

Laura was very friendly and went way beyond being a sales person to us. Throughout the years, we would run into each other in town and alway had fun reminiscing about that very exciting time in our lives. She was genuine, honest, and kind hearted. Please allow me to begin by expressing my sympathy and offering my prayers for your family on is significant loss.
I so remember Laura's smile and generous spirit. We both graduated from Longwood (Academy of Our Lady) in 1965. Off we both went to Milwaukee for College. As Laura's hairdresser for 20+ years my heart is saddened by this devastating loss. I looked forward to her appointments because I always knew we would have a great laugh. Sometimes we laughed until we cried. I will miss you dearly my sweet friend!!! Deepest condolences to the entire Murphy family and to all that were blessed by her love, light, and laugh.

I had the honor of being one of Laura's nurses. Despite everything she was going through, her warmth, friendliness and positive attitude made her a pleasure to take care of. I will truly miss her smiling face and will keep her fondly in my memory. My sincerest sympathies to Tracey and her family.
