Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Orthwein was a beautiful lady whom I had the pleasure of knowing and worked for. She was funny, kind and loving. I also worked for her husband Bill Orthwein whom I considered a dear friend as well as employer. The whole family are wonderful peoply. Mrs Laura will surely be missed.

Mrs. Laura was a very lovable and intriguing lady and i truly miss her. The time spent with her was very enjoyable to me and will never be forgotten. She is now with her prince ( Mr o) . May god bless the girls and you will always be in my prayers.

The last message that started mrs.laura was from charlotte ( charlie)singleton-calmes.

I never got to meet Mrs Orthwein, but I'm very, very sure she was an unusually fine woman, since she reared a signally active, important, and kindly "second-wave" feminist, my friend Laura X of Berkeley, perhaps best known for the Women's History Research Library she began and maintained for so long during crucial years, but also for her work on so many other key issues as well: a model of stewardship, as I can tell her mother was as well.
With all sympathy,
Lucinda (Cindy) Cisler

Mrs Orthwein was one of a kind, a lover of the arts. She will be greatly missed by many. A beautiful woman in many ways. The time I spent with her, I will never forget. Toni R Benson
