It is breaking my heart to hear of the loss of our Laurie. You always think that you are going to see someone again someday and then you just aren't. I miss when Amy was little and Laurie and Walter would bring the whole clan to church all dressed in matching clothes. When I played the part of Blanche it was Laurie that found all the perfect accessories. I am so sad that I didn't know that she was sick and did not reach out. My love goes out to her beautiful family and I pray for their...

My Dear Devine Clan There are no words to describe just how much I feel your pain through this hard time. Your mother was an AMAZING woman with very LARGE shoes to fill & although I know there are no words to take your pain away, just know that you are & will be in so many thoughts and prayers; not only now through this hard time but in the times to come. The loss of a mother is like no other & when your mother means as much as your mother did to not only yourselves but as well as many others...

Dearest Devine Family,
I am not 100% sure you remember who I am but your mother and I were friends as she fostered my husbands niece Kathy later known as Kathy Carpenter. We shared many many phone calls, she gave so much to this world and its so sad that she has left this world too young leaving behind many beautiful children and grandchildren. Just know she is loved by so many and she will always have a place in my heart and know she will live on through all of you. The loss of a mother...

I wish I had had the opportunity to get to know Laurie. It seems that she was very loving and selfless mother and dedicated to her family. I know also that she was a very talented seamstress. It is evident from the many loving postings by her children that she will always hold a special place in their hearts. Bless you all.
