Not sure what to say?

Just heard about Laurel. My deepest condolences. Laurel and I attended Godwin High school. We took multiple Herman's Hermits trips with our mutual friends.

Laurel, you are an amazing lady with a heart of gold, for all those with no voice. I was honored to have known you for the past 20 years. Godspeed my friend, you will be dearly missed.

Dear Mike, Ben, Stephen and family, We are thinking of you as you celebrate Laurel's life and come to terms with your loss. We are sorry we are so far away and not there to support you in person. We are sending strength and hugs. Waremst regards, Angie, Den, Nat and Eloise Bowen

I will love you forever.

Laurel was an amazing transport coordinator. She helped save so many animals and could pull off miracles.
We may have differed politically, but we had a shared love of animals and rescue work.
I hope there is a heaven and all the animals she helped that have passed away find her.

Laurel has been a fireball of strength and knowledge for so many of us in animal welfare. Her grit and backbone kept the good fight going and, little by little, County Animal Control Shelters in Michigan were pushed, pulled and dragged into the 20th/21st century. She truly was a remarkable and unforgettable woman, like no one else I've ever known. My condolences to her family and close friends.

Countless precious fur babes got the second chances they deserve because of Laurel. Laurel was a fierce advocate, mentor, guardian, guide, and friend. Rest in peace Laurel~May God comfort your family and friends...

I will miss you Laurel. We worked together on the Dog Bite Prevention Committe, Dog Adoption Events, and Dog & Cat Adoptions. I enjoyed your wonderful home cooking & baking. I met you at the presentation for Dog Breed Identification and Dog Behavior Education. You put together a wonderful program with an expert panel. And, it was featured on channel 17. I enjoyed caring for your pets while you were away. I love you my dear friend. Leslie Ericksen Hatch.
