JOAN, CHARLIE, MARY PLEASE ACCEPT OUR SINCERE CONDOLENCES FOR YOUR HORRIFIC LOSS. OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL YOUR FAMILIES AT THIS TIME. LOVE SUE & WIN BRIGGS (JANIE MCCLELLANS SISTER)

I was so sad to hear of Laurel's passing. My prayers and sympathies are with all who love and miss her.

To Mary and all of Laurel's family:

You will be in my thought and prayers during this very sad, difficult time. Laurel was one of the most remarkable, talented, insightful people I knew. I'm so grateful to have been her friend through our high school years.

God bless, and Laurel - I know you're watching down on us all.

My deepest sympathies to the entire family. Laurel was so creative, funny, and someone I looked up to in high school. Although many years have passed since then, she has remained part of some of my favorite memories.

Please know how sad I am to read of Laurel's passing. Though many years have passed, I have so many wonderful memories of Laurel, and our school days- she was funny, charming and always the best listener. She was a very special person and will live on in the wonderful memories that so many of us hold dear. With my deepest sympathy for all of you and your loss-Linda (Buck) Johnson

My first introduction to Laurel was in the early 90's when we worked together at Cabot. I was always amazed at her incredible, energy, enthusiasm and love that she brought to everything she did. As luck would have it, I had the good fortune of working with Laurel again at Ingalls. It has been some years since I have seen Laurel but she is someone who impacted my life in a very positive way and I will never forget her. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Hello, My name is Doug McKenna & I went to D-Y high school with Laurel & remember her as being a very warm, thoughtful, expressive & simply good person.... I had my 'troubles' then [didn't/don't we all?] & Laurel often gave some sort of positive 'response' which I always appreciated, even if I was too 'pulled in' to show it.... I sincerely thank her for that & honestly wish I had got to know her better....
My Mom passed away yesterday & is listed on the same obit page as Laurel...

Mary,
I'm so very sorry for your loss. Laurel was always a fun & funny person. The last time I saw her was at the 20 year D-Y reunion. Heaven now has an angel to make them smile.

Laurel was a sweet and talented girl and I am so sad to see her go. Mary, my heart goes out to you. I am so very sorry.
