Not sure what to say?

To The Family, I purchased a print of Ms. Duplessis from a Hidden Treasure store in Charlotte, NC. I researched the artist and learned a lot about the talented Ms. Duplessis. Her legacy will live forever! I am looking forward to reading her book and hope that I can locate a copy. What an inspiration!

I was a Counselor at Mass College of Art and purchased one of her earlier beautiful works.. it is a drawing of her daughter. I would love to send it to her daughter. Please contact me at beverly @brichardsonassoc.com

I am just learning of Laurel's passing and send my very belated condolences. I was the College Counselor at Mass College of Art while Laurel was there. I still have a very beautiful drawing of her daughter that she did back then and would like to gift it to the family. Please email me at Dr. [email protected]. Dr. Beverly Allen RICHARDSON

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

I just learned of Laurel's passing and am unspeakably grieved. Laurel and I were friends in Massachusetts. Our children played together. I possess some of her early art and cards. My belated sympathy to Lauren, Arem and Errol. Peace and blessings, Tiajuana Mosby

I am sorry for your loss. I was friends with Beth Tucker Showell and met Laurel through her sister. We were in the planning stages of a Delta Exhibition at the time of Laurel's Death. I will miss her!

I just learned of her passing. She touched my life and was a tremendous inspiration to me during my early years of business. She was an incredible woman whom I desired to learn from. Her name will always bring a smile to my face and a longing in my heart to want to learn more. My love to all the family, Lynn graves, DeStress Express Massage

Just heard of this tremendous loss. Having known Laurel for more than 55 years I can say that she truly touched the lives of so many. Condolences to the family. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

Dear Errol and family, my deepest sympathies on the loss of your wife and mother. She was a beautiful woman and a gifted artist. I am saddened by her passing. An African proverb says that no one is truly gone unless they are forgotten. Your memories of her will remain with you and keep her alive in you. May God bless and keep you.
