Not sure what to say?

Dear Laurel,

It's so hard to believe you've been gone a year now. I think of you every single day ..wishing you were here ..wishing I could talk to you ..wishing I could tell you how much you mean to me ..My heart hurts so badly now because of you being gone. I dream of you sometimes. I hope that's your way of "coming back". I will never forget you, my dear friend. I believe the heart & spirit lives on forever. You will always be in my heart ..always.

Your friend,

Dear Laurel,

it's hard to believe that 12 months have slipped by since you so suddenly passed away;

I think of you often with a heavy heart and still get teary whenever Aldo, Noelle and Tess are spoken of on Catster ...

Aldo and Noelle are happily settled into their new homes; Tess's whereabouts is still unknown but as her carrier went missing at the same time, it's a pretty safe bet that she too has found a new furrever home ...

today I found this...

I am thinking of you today Laurel. It's been a year since you left us. Please know you are not forgotten.

Laurel, Thought of you so many times, this Thanksgiving. I know you and I would be doing Christmas pages for our cats right now. How I wish I could tell you, just once more, that I treasured your friendship, and I even miss your scoldings! Watch over me, OK? Love, Teri

There was a beautiful rainstorm (so rare) at sunset this evening, the sky was golden as the sun shone through. And a double rainbow! My folks came over for dinner, then Mom told a story about Laurel and I at a movie theatre back in the 1960s... Laurel swallowed a nickle, the manager put us both out on the sidewalk in downtown Tampa and called my Mom to come get us... funny, we were just kids having fun... Mom relived that story, and I came in to google you... no idea you'd just recently...

Laurel I am so sorry that I wasn't able to find Tess, but we will keep trying everything to make sure that she's okay..I am so sorry my friend that you had to leave us so soon..but know that you will always in our hearts and thoughts. Please guide Tess to us so she can go to reunite Aldo on their forever home once again...Rest in Peace Sweet Laurel
Adriana

Rest In Peace Laurel

you have touched so may lives, Laurel, your passing is a great loss to the whole world

I wanted to resign and post a favourite quote. I wish I had known you and your furbabies on Catster/Dogster, but out paths never crossed. If heaven finds you with a fat tortie bridge kitty on your feet, that's Tigger and she's giving you the love I couldn't.

"Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity."
-- Henry Van Dyke
