Not sure what to say?

Larry, May all of your special memories comfort you during this difficult time. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Bev & Roy Piper

Laurel was a great friend to me in my early days in Washington, DC. She helped me navigate the city (understanding the cab system was huge!) and was always available with a kind word of encouragement or a great story when the days at work were intense. She was such a steady presence, I will always miss her. My thoughts are with her family - both in MIchigan, Texas ... and her wonderful extended family in Washington. Rest in peace my friend.

Laurel was a rare gift to all of us who knew her, loved her and enjoyed her warm embrace, her wit and her smarts. She was a rare colleague and friend of over 25 years who gave so much more of herself than any of us could possibly give her. I hope and believe we tried. I miss her so much.

There are no words to express my deep sadness. I will remember Laurel for the sweet, kind, gentle, precious lady she was. I was honored and blessed to have known her.

I was so sorry to hear this news. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Marilyn Miller
