My Dearest Little Sister -
Words cannot begin to express the deep sadness that I have in my heart. I hold on to those precious memories that I have when we were little - and that is what keeps you close. Even though you are my cousin, I love you like a little sister. Rest in Peace "Little Buckeye". You are a shining star in my sky of tomorrow.

Laurel, you will be missed so much for so many reasons. But you will be watching over all of us, and smiling down upon everyone, the tinkling of your laughter flowing with the wind past us like a quick hug. You were beautiful in life, you will stay so forever. My condolences to your family and friends, with prayers and thoughts for a smile with those tears.

Miss you, love you, and warm thoughts to those you've left behind,
Beth (PCHS)

To the VanGemert Family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May you take comfort in knowing there is one more angel above us.

Laurel, We love you so much and words cannot express our sadness at this most difficult time in our lives and the lives of all our family. But, we know we will see you again! Love, Aunt Pam and Uncle Jim

My dear Laurel,
You were one of my most favorite 8th grade students EVER! How sad that so many will now miss knowing your beauty. I was one of the lucky ones. I will miss you, but I have such sweet memories of our year together...... Mrs. Collins

Laurel was the most kind person I've ever known. I have no idea what I will do without her. Everyone who met her remembered her because she was such a wonderful person and full of sparkle.

Laurel was a great friend. I am so thankful that she became a part of my life. I will miss her more than words could ever express. My thoughts are with her family and friends.

Henry, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
