Not sure what to say?

I was a classmate at Sauk Prairie High School. I am very sorry about her loss. She was a fabulous person and left a great life!

I fondly remember talking to both Laurel and Bob for many years while watching the Waukesha West marching band. Their son Joe and my daughter Jennifer spent a long time together on that field and they got to be good friends. It was great to see another friendly face in the crowd, a fellow parent who was cheering for a child. I am so sorry for your loss.

My condolences to all Laurel’s family & friends. She blessed my path with a kind friendship. Laurel had a smile and sincerity in her eyes of compassion. A beauty from within. Her beautiful smile would shine more as she shared about her kiddos and travels. Peace to all.

Sincere condolences on Laurel’s passing. Many memories while employed at the Milwaukee Journal newsroom.

it’s been many years past. I remember as if it was yesterday. I was always impressed by her Journalism. She always had great advice for us the Scout Leaders of Troop 4. She’ll be deeply missed by everyone she has touched in life. My thoughts and prayers go to Bob, Will, and Joe Walker family. God Bless

Will, your mother and I “bonded” when she was expecting you, and I was pregnant, too — working at Carroll, after working at the Freeman — and we both faced trying to find child care for infants, which wasn’t easyin Waukesha then. I found a solution, called your mother out of the blue — as we had met only a few times — and found more than a solution. I found a friend, as mothers were not common in our workplaces.

I remember so well her joy in expecting you, Will — and your joy, too,...

Dear Bob and family, I was fortunate to meet Laurel while working with you at DHSS in Waukesha County. Laurel's writing skills were clearly evident and I am sure she surpassed that in other ways as a wife, mother and friend. My heartfelt condolences. Ann Christman

Bob - I am so sorry for your loss. I never had the opportunity to meet your wife but I always loved hearing your stories about her and your projects. My heart goes out to you at this difficult time.

I'm so sorry for your loss Bob. I didn't know Laurel well but so her around Waukesha and her bright smile was always a soothing hello. I hope you and your family will hold the many memories in your heart to give you some comfort.
