Lauren I am remembering you on this day and want you to know what a wonderful Mom you have. Your Mom and I have been friends forever and a day. It seems like just yesterday that you left us. I cant tell you much about things, as I never got the privieldge to meet you. But I know you were an angel. O Lord who watches over children in the present life and in the world to come because of their simplicity and innocence of mind, abundantly satisfying them with a place in Abraham's bosom, bringing them to live in radiantly shining places where the spirits of the righteous dwell: receive in peace the soul of Your little servant Lauren, for You Yourself have said, "Let the little children come to Me, for such is the Kingdom of Heaven." Amen.

Remembering Lauren on this day. I'll never forget the long, long line of people at the visitation waiting to love on the family so dear to them. I still remember, the darling little girl and the many, many lives she touched in her short life. I still pray for you, Lisa, Dan, Nick, Lexi and Ellie. Be in peace...Lauren is for she is with the Father. You are loved.

I just wanted you to know you have a new sister. Her name is Ellie Rose. She was named after you. Your initials are L.E. Get it? Ellie? And the Rose is after Mommy's Aunt Rosalee. She was my favorite Aunt. She was born on April 19, 2004. She weighed 6.9 and was 19.5 inches long. She has Alexis' eyes and the rest looks like YOU! I miss you, honey. We all do. When I got up this morning I was getting ready and I grabbed my pink scarf. It was the one I wore to Lauren's Visitation and the graveyard. I just felt the need to wear that today, or at least have it with me.
