I am thankful I got to meet your daughter and your family. Lauren fought the good fight with style and grace and I will miss her "1000" watt smile that could light up a room. I am a better person for having known her.

My sympathy and prayers go out to the Wilburn family and all of Lauren's friends. I knew Lauren when she was friends with my sister Mandi Mathieu Oakes in high school and later from the Eye Center.
