Not sure what to say?

Lathams,
Like so many times these past 3 weeks I don't know what is appropriate to do or say but Lauren and I were never "appropriate". I went up there shaking trying to tell people to live life to the fullest and thanking Lauren for changing my life because that’s what she would have done. I really love your daughter, so many do- Its been so hard having to share Lauren with the hundreds that miss her- I am one of the few individuals that knows the real Lauren. The LaLa, that would cry...

Dean, Ricki, and family,

All of us were terribly saddened to hear the news about Lauren. She was a wonderful young lady, and she definitely left her impression on many. Jill and I feel your pain, and we keep your family in our daily prayers. We have known you guys for nearly 20 years now, and you are certainly role model parents, and a role model family. The ceremony was very moving and most beautiful. We love you guys.

Donny

Rickie & Dean: We wanted you to know that we can't even imagine what the two of you (and Britney & Taylor) are going through. We just want you to know that both of you and your family have been a part of our lives for SO MANY years and because of that we have a cherished friendship that is life long. Lauren was such a beautiful girl we only regret that we moved and really didn't get to know the real Lauren. Our memories of her are vivid ... from Laurel Branch ball games to Kings Grant...

There are no words sufficient to ease the pain of your loss. You are living every parent's nightmare. Hearing the memories of Lauren from her friends and family on Saturday, just reaffirmed for all what a wonderful family you are. You gave Lauren a good life filled with love and fun and family. The incredible young woman she became is a reflection of your love and parenting. Now you begin the difficult process of releasing the physical presence and embracing the spiritual presence of Lauren....

Lauren and I have been a couple for so long now. She is the love of my life. If anyone knew us, they know she always had a smile on her face. Wow! Mom and Dad Latham, you know who I am. I will always be your son. I was so mad at you for not telling me on the phone. I understand now. I yelled and yelled at my parents and at the world. I knew something was wrong when you were calling me and instead of Lauren. I knew something was terribly wrong. After my mom hung up with you. I txted lauren...

To the Family,
Vickie and I wish to express our sympathy for your terrible loss. We can't imagine what you are going through right now but we want you to know we are keeping you in our prayers. Regards, Greg & Vickie Pickeral

Lauren Danielle Latham "LDL" as she would write on all of her school papers was my best friend. We have a long history together, I have known her since the 4th grade. We went to Archbishop Neale School and developed a wonderful friendship. We then went on to St Mary's Ryken. This year in particular I spent every waking moment with this girl! Although we only had Government class together, we spent everyday together. We talked on the phone getting ready for school, on our way to school, at...

Lauren I know i haven't talked to you at all this school year I have to tell you that you have inspired me to work harder in school. I had the same disabilities you had and like you have over comethem to do better. I have always seen you on campus at Ryken. I know that you exsit and you always will in my heart. The thing i'll always remember in you is Literature class together how you always enlighten your class with Mr. Sullivann. Your smile OMG your smile i honestly never have seen your...

Dear Rickie and Dean,
I can not imagine what you both are going through. I feel such a sense of loss and Lauren wasn't even mine. I want you both to know how much she meant to our family and how very much she will be missed. I loved her just like she was my daughter. I just want you to know that she was the best kid I knew. I hate the fact that she is gone. I know she is in a better place but I want to be selfish and have her back. She was a shining star who was taken to early.
