Not sure what to say?

Dear Coach,
I'm happy to say that I found this page before it was too late to explain how you touched my life. With every passing day it becomes a little bit easier to face this strange reality that you're no longer here physically. I'm beginning to look at your passing as a blessing rather than a tragedy. I am very sorry to hear about Lauren. Kathy (Clark) Libert and Bill were very fond of her and kept me up-to-date on Lauren's health issues. She was a very strong person who kept fighting. She will be missed.
Georgene Clark (Kathy's Mom)

Lauren was an amazing person, and she touched the lives of all who knew her. Everyone felt her amazing spirit and was in complete awe of her. She was truly a gift to us all. She will be greatly remembered and loved always. God Bless.

Dan and Weller family,

Please know of our sadness in hearing of Lauren's passing. What a dear friend she was for our daughter Shirley! Her smile and positive attitude was contagious. Her strong spirit will truly live on in our granddaughter and her namesake, Eila Marie. Our prayers are with you,

She was an amazing girl! It was a pleasure knowing her when she was playing volleyball at Gaithersburg!

Lauren has forever changed this world and the way we look at it. As one of her friends so beautifully put it, she was the support we all needed to accept and understand what she was going through. I will always cherish our childhood memories and miss her greatly. We love you Lauren!
