With affection and sympathy,

To the Members of the Connolly Family and his legion of friends:

It was with great sadness that I learned of Larry's death when I read the obituary pages of the paper late last evening, far to late to attend his wake or funeral.

As a new sergeant assigned to Station 10 in Roxbury Crossing, most will never know how much I learned from your father and his devoted and deceased partner, Arthur Coe.

Our deepest sympathy is with your family at this difficult time. May you find comfort in cherished memories of a life well lived and know that he now rests in the loving arms of the Lord. Love & prayers,

What a privilege, honor and pleasure it has been to know Larry Connelly. He made us feel safe and protected. We turned to him for guidance and wisdom. His stories delighted us and his family became our family. We deemed him our "Mayor of Sunrise" and will feel his loss forever. There will always be a space for him at "Larry's table".
Rest in peace Larry with your beautiful wife and son. We will miss you always.
With deep love and affection,
Your Sunrise Family

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Kayleen was very fond of her "Papa Connelly." Our thoughts and prayers are with your whole family. With love, Jennifer, Dennis, and Kayleen

Please accept my deepest sympathy and that of my family on the loss of your father and brother. I believe Larry was one of my Dad's first partners on the BPD. My Dad and Mom spoke fondly of him. I had the good fortune of seeing him regularly when I returned to Boston and Catholic Memorial. He was very generous and helpful to several people in need. I am sorry that I will not be able to offer my prayers and condolences in person. I will keep him and your family in my thoughts and prayers. ...

My deepest sympathy to you and your family at this time of sorrow.
