Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Larry's passing and I'm truly sadden by his untimely death. Through my work at the Mt. Greenwood Library, I've known Grace and Larry for the past 20 years. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. My thoughts and prayers are with the O'Connor family.

Our prayers are with the entire O'Connor Family. His footsteps will forever be heard in our hearts when ever we walk the trails of Owasippe. Larry will truely be missed.

Thank you for notifying us, sorry we cannot be there. We will always remember the good times we had scouting. With sincere sympathy to all of the O'Connor's.

Gracie, Mike, Joan, Richard and entire O'Connor family. We are so saddened to hear of the loss of Larry. He will always be in our thoughts and prayers. The Chicago Public Library has lost a special member of our family. Always ready with a smile, a kind word, or a joke, Larry was a great public servant. His friends, family and colleagues will feel his loss for a long time. My condolences to the O'Connor family and all members of the CPL family, especially the staff of the South District and Mount Greenwood. May memories of happier times spent in Larry's company bring comfort in the days ahead.

Larry was one of my troop leaders of troop 785. Some of my best memories of my childhood have larry in them, all the years of Owasippe white water rafting, all of the trips we went on. He always was there making everybody laugh. Your Familyhas my prayers and condolences with your loss of a great man.
Sincerely

My heart is breaking with the news of Larry’s death. I have an 11-year-old daughter, Victoria, who is medically fragile / multiply disabled. For years, Larry went out of his way make her feel very special. They had an irreplaceable bond that was one of a kind. If he did not see us for a while, he would always call to see if Victoria was O.K. When she was hospitalized, he and the library team would send cards, flowers, or some type of gift.

Whatever Victoria’s interest was, Larry...

Larry was Troop Committee Chair for Troop 785 of St Walter's Parish in the Beverly Community of Chicago, an active Life Member of the Owasippe Staff Association, a Brotherhood Member of the Order of The Arrow, and a dedicated Scouter to his unit and to Owasippe Scout Reservation which he considered his second home.

For at least the last ten years, Larry devoted most weekends of each summer to volunteering with the maintenance staff at Owasippe Scout Reservation. For years, he has...

Dear O'Connor family,

We were so sorry to hear about Larry. He was such a help to my boys' when they were in Boy Scouts. I saw him a month ago and he asked about the boys, as he always did, and then asked how I was doing. He was always so thoughtful. He will be missed by all of the people that knew him.
