I only recently heard that Larry had passed away and want to extend sincere condolences to his entire family and especially to his sister Kathleen. He was one of the kindest, most clever and bright - and, in spite of his many talents, also humble of classmates and with no insecurities or attitude. I felt so lucky when he invited me to the Junior Prom and my whole family adored him. I remember Larry as a calm, rock steady presence no matter what was happening and how he could find gentle ...

I'm sorry to hear of Larry (Mr. O'C's) passing. I worked as an Aide several times in his Math classroom at Southwick High School. He was a great teacher, and his students respected and loved him. I'm glad I had the chance to work with him.

While I hadn´t seen Larry for years, I cherish the times I hung out with Larry, his wit and the hundreds of basketball games we played together. Many a day and night we took our team to gyms across the greater Hartford region to compete- winning most. Larry was a little undersized for a center( now that´s an oxymoron)- in height only- but a pillar on defense. He allowed the rest of us to do the scoring, while he toiled in the dirty work. I am sorry for you loss of a very special person. Larry was a classmate at NWC and one of the really unique persons that I encountered during those four years. He was highly intelligent, a gifted athlete and a compassionate person. His rye observations were devastatingly clever, but never offensive. He was a wonderfully grounded person. I am sure you will miss him but so will many others. Cherish your memories and best wishes.

I am saddened to hear of Larry's passing. I loved working with him at SRS and enjoyed his quick wit and good nature. I'm sure everyone who taught with him would say the same. I'm sorry I won't be around for the services to honor you. Rest in Peace big guy.
