Uncle Rod and Melina, I was saddened to learn of Aunt Laurene's passing. As I read this story of her life I realized there is quite a bit about her I didn't know, despite spending many a summer day swimming at your house while growing up. Hugs to you both!

Dear Rod and Melina,

Thinking of you both as you celebrate Laurene's Life. She was an amazing woman, mother, wife, friend, and such a beautiful spirit. It's not an easy process to lose someone we hold so close to our hearts. I like to think of Laurene and my mom having fun catching up together and causing a little mischief here and there waiting to greet us when it's our time. In the meantime they will be watching over us. Try to find the simple pleasures in life and when you...

Rod,
I am very sorry to hear of your loss and regret that I cannot be there for the celebration of Laurene's life. I spent some time sitting down and talking to Laurene at our last class reunion and still marvel at what a courageous lady she was. We were very impressed with her achievements in life as described in such a well...

I am very sorry for your loss. Laurene was my 9th grade English teacher at Kamiakin, and was part of my inspiration to become a teacher as well. She was always one of the most encouraging people in my life when it came to writing. Later I also was her collegue here at Southridge. Prayers to the family...

Dear Classmate and friend Rod,
I'm sorry I cannot be there for the "celebration" of Laurene's life with everyone...Her acheivments impressed me immensely after reading the beautiful obit written by your daughter.
