I have just learned of my friend's "graduation to heaven." It was 1960 when my family moved to Valley Stream, Long Island. While his parents always called him Larry, at school and at Grace Methodist Church, he was Paul Sartorio to us. One of my favorite people. Shared a house with him in the fan till he found a much better companion, Faith. His dog at the time, always a dog, (Thane I think) chewed up my favorite hat, but oh well, those things happen with dogs. Was so proud when I read about a case he won before the Supreme court in the WSJ. Remember visiting his family house in the Shenandoah Valley, he was correct it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Am sure his family and friends will all miss him. ...
