Dear laurent I didn't know you much even though you were my uncle I remember the last time I had met you and my only true memories I had of you. Me and poppy (Larry) were making one of our favorite breakfast rituals of grits and pancakes with a face or design as usually at about 5:00 in the morning or maybe earlier when we had heard a knock on the door I was surprised because even at that young age I knew nobody knocked that early around this neighborhood but when I saw the look in poppys...

I served with SSG West in 3rd ACR back in 2000, he was my wing man during his second Bosnia Deployment. He is a good man and will be missed.
