Not sure what to say?

We were so sorry to hear about the passing of Aunt Lauretta. We were away on vacation when the memorial service was held. We have many fond memories of our Aunt Lauretta.

As the President of her Academy graduating class in 1992, I remember well the struggles we were put through to attain our level of training and skills necessary to perform our duties at the Sheriff's Dept. Lauretta was front and center on every class, every lesson, every push-up. I admired her greatly and saddened by her loss. She was a truly good person. God Bless

I have known Lauretta for 29 years. She and I became friends instantly. Lauretta was an awesome, caring, loving and kind woman. She sincerely cared about all people. Se was a rare wonderful friend. I will miss her and never forget her. She encouraged me thru tough times and I learned much from her. This is a shock to me. I am sure I could write a book about her abilities, qualities, empathetic and sympathetic ways. She helped and encouraged touching the lives of many. I pray she is...

I worked with Lauretta at the jail and truly enjoyed working with her. I was the officer for the Saturday morning mother-child visits; each week was a beautiful experience. She was so devoted and I learned so much from her. I valued my time working with her and am truly sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful woman.

My thoughts and prayers to Gibby and family. I will always remember Lauretta as a well poised, vivacious, kind and humbled woman with the most infectious smile. She has touched many lives over the years and those that had the privilege to know her will always remember her as unforgettable. Resi in Peace Lauretta and May Perpetual Light Always Shine Upon You.

To the Family of Lauretta, My sincere condolences for your loss. I trained/ came on the job with Lauretta at HCHOC when the women's unit first opened. She had a great sense of humor, got me through training and was my partner in crime trying to navigate the new women's unit. I have many fond memories of Lauretta. Again, so very sorry for your loss. Prayers, Peace and Love~
