Laurette "Laurie" Kathryn Casagranda

February 14, 1951 - June 28, 2025

Born February 14, 1951, Laurette Kathryn Hawe; mother Leo Ann Humber, father Lawrence /Larry Hawe.

Siblings John, Rich, Tim, Kevin, Patrick Hawe, Claude Vail "Brooks" and Leslie Hawe.

Laurie, an adventurous woman full of love, compassion, loyalty, and the ability to take care of others, was so beautiful.

She was a mother to Sean and Corry Casagranda, Gina Casagranda-Vargas and Mario Vargas, and a son she never met until now, Rick Desisto. I, as her son, was never not loved and always her baby boy, Allawicious she called me.

She lived in Butte for many years, and Alaska for a short time. She returned to Butte and when she retired from BSW, she chose to live in Arizona where she spent her last years. She loved us all and had a special love for her mother; they were very close.

"The love of her life", John Andrew Casagranda, those were her words in her last few days. She also cherished her relationship with Dave Batterman; she loved riding on the Harley.

She had 8 grandchildren, Dennis John, Zachary Peter, John Wayne Casagranda, Kathryn Denison Cannon, Evelynn McMichael, Catherine Dawn Mann, Kristina Marie Meade and Mackenzie Renee Robles. She also had the babies, her Great Grandchildren, Miley Grace, Olivia Joy Casagranda, Marcus and McKinley Goodenough, Pauly Cannon, Tanner, Taylin and Evan Meade, and Luna Robles. As well as many very loved Nieces and Nephews. Laurie was surrounded by her family in her last moments. Laurie passed peacefully into heaven with her children and grandchildren by her side. She will be dearly missed.

We will all miss her so much. We know with certainty that she is in heaven.

Celebration of life July 17, 2025 at 11 a.m. Duggan Dolan Mortuary 1805 Meadowlark Ln, Butte, MT 59701.

Not sure what to say?

Did not Laurette aka Lori well or for long. She was thoughtful and kind. Seem to always think of others. Wish I had gotten to spend time with her. Too late now but I will always have her in my memory.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. So good knowing you and working at bsw with you

Rest easy Laurie so many good times

I'm so sad to hear this. I knew her all my life and cut her and Leanns hair all the time when they lived here. She was a great lady and always kept in touch on messenger. Now she can see all the old crowd she missed so much. My prayers are with her family it's good to know she went in peace. Last of her kind. Rip Laurie. Sean Gina &;Brooksy so sorry for your loss.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. My love & prayers to all of Laurie's Family & Friends. May her memories hold dear in your hearts. Rest in peace Laurie Janice Clark Muniz

My heart goes out to you all. I met Laurie on Easter this year. We crossed paths as I was watching over her grand-dogs. She immediately invited me over for dinner. We talked for hours and even took a stroll to gather the mail. She was the sweetest lady! She texted me a few days later and told me that she missed our little chats. She will be greatly missed
