At our household, starting from when I was around 10 years old, it was an event when "Laurie and Mick" came to visit. With a fuzzy memory about the topics back then, I distinctly remember the loud laughter and that it was often. My mother (Alice) always held Laurie in the highest regard. She was right to do so.
