Read MoreI did not know Laurie Wright as Laurie Wright, to me she was always Laurie W. and I Laurie C. She was a wonderful friend when we were growing up and all through school. I loved spending the night at her house when we were young. I know she is in a better place now. My prayers to her family.

Laurie was such a big part of my life for 46 years that I cannot find the words that express how she touched my life. At 5 years old- I knew we were BFF! She always said we should write a book of our exploits, that it would sell a million copies. One day I just might share these great adventures with her daughter Rachel and son Nick- Toms heard them all before!
