Not sure what to say?

Remembering Laurie: "They come to her. They find her instinctively, the strays, the abandoned, the forgotten, the traumatized, the lost and wounded. It isn´t because of a sign on her door, but the love in her heart. She´s a rescuer, a healer, a fostered, a friend to animals and people. It´s her calling from above to make it safe and love them whole. And she does." (-by Jody Doty)

Laurie. What can I say? Laurie exemplified altruism and helping to all.

As time passes we still long to be with our loved ones. Know your being thought of and your Heavenly Father cares for your family throughout this difficult time. Cherish your memories and look forward to the day God promises to reunite us with our dear loved ones. 1 Thessalonians 4:14
Warmest Regards

she was sweet charming and lovely creature. She was also my second cousin.

Laurie, you did everything you could for so many. And you made it look so easy. Wonderful meals, evenings by the bonfire, long conversations about life and beyond, a supportive shoulder, always ready to listen with an open heart. Loving and advocating for any and all animals, you spoke firmly for those who have no voice. May you always be surrounded by wagging tails and the sound of hoofbeats. We love and miss you.

I remember years ago, I brought my young
grand daughter Tori to visit horse ranch
in Issaquah. Laurie was proud to show Tori
her horses. It was a memory I will cherish.
To my cousin Mary Ann-we are thinking of you
at this time.

The Bishop and Major cousins grew up together as one family. Laurie was much more than a cousin; she was my boss back in the day, roommate and most of all, my friend. Laurie was a determined woman who made things happen and made dreams come true both for herself and for others. My heart aches for Tim, my Aunt Mimi, my cousin Mark and the many many friends and family members who are hurting over Laurie's passing. Rest in peace Laurie. Life will never be the same without you and I will miss you...
