Not sure what to say?

I have many fond memories of Rev. Byrd. He was a kind and gentle soul who always had a smile on his face! He was the Pastor that confirmed me at Asbury UMC. I will be praying for you, Mrs. Byrd, David, Laurie and the rest of the family. I know without a doubt that he is smiling down on all of us. May God hold you all closely during this difficult time.

I have fond memories of our time together at Asbury UMC. Lawson and I spent many hours planning worship services and I learned a lot from working with him. He told me years later that "We didn't always see eye to eye on things but we got along" and I wasn't aware of those times! He was such a gentleman. Hold on to the good memories and years. He was a special person.

Ann and family, Lawson was such a sweetheart and a true southern gentleman. Your love and perseverance through his illness was a testament to that as well as a beautiful example to us all. He will be greatly missed. Wishing you God's peace in the knowledge that Lawson is truly in a better place, happy, and likely singing his heart out!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God bring you comfort and peace.
