Not sure what to say?

Dear Laurie Conrad, I would like to thank you for your letter to me dated the year 2000 in which you reassured me that God loves me by telling me that my life circumstances revealed that I have an unusual destiny that I shall only understand when I meet God. I just remembered the contents of your uplifting letter tonight and your wise words long ago lifted my spirits! Thank you! Sincerely, Miss Valerie Oval Lecuona, age 54 years, pictured above

Dear Laurie Conrad, I really enjoyed all our conversations about the important matters of life! You encouraged me to love and trust God with your words of hope! God be with you! Sincerely, Miss Valerie Oval Lecuona, age 54 years

Laurie's wisdom lives on through her books available on Amazon.com and through an interview series in which you can once again hear her loving voice as she discusses her first book: The Spiritual Life of Animals and Plants, part 1 https://interviewpoint.bandcamp.com/track/the-spiritual-life-of-animals-plants The Spiritual Life of Animals and Plants, part 2 https://interviewpoint.bandcamp.com/track/part-2-the-spiritual-life-of-animals-and-plants-divine-healing

I was just thinking that I hadn't heard from Laurie in awhile......Very sad news.... such talent...and so generous with her talents. Laurie used to come to our 8 a.m. conducting class with Walter Beeler in her pajamas. Wendy -clarinet IC'69

I miss you my old friend. Our talks over late night/early morning breakfasts at the State Diner. Your melodious, musical laugh. The way you played the Ballade No. 4 in F minor by Chopin. Your prolonged and abiding concern for Luke Skywalker. Your Marlene Dietrich. Your compassion and grace. I cannot say goodbye, I just don't know.

She will be missed. We corresponded via email for a few years..Laurie was a teacher to me, a mentor, a distant friend, someone I never met but love and respected.Am saddened to find out she has passed. Miss u my beloved sister in God. My condolences to the family of this Angel of God.

I didn't know Laurie as wel as I know her spouse, Mariette. But one thing Laurie could always be counted on is dessert! Going to dinner with Laurie and Mariette was always one of my great pleasures. Laurie would always check out all the desserts carefully (with me standing by to hear the full commentary) before making her choice. Laurie saved me the embarrassment of being the only one who really wanted dessert but, unlike Laurie, I was too embarrassed to mention it. God, we all miss her.

I send my love and sympathy to Marietta and all of Lauries immense team. Laurie was certainly one of the most extraordinary and compassionate human beings ever! She lived enormously open with her very gentle heart just to grace us all with her eternally befriending and generous spirit; she was a treasured spiritual mentor for me in so many ways while she walked here on Earth. For me Laurie was and is what can only be understood to be a true Saint. Though I am unable to come to Ithaca for her...
