I was trying to find Laurie on Facebook. While I had your phone number and meant to call so many times I found this news. I am so sorry for your loss Louis and and am shocked and profoundly saddened by this news.
Laurie was without doubt one of the nicest most genuine people I have ever known. I so regret not having been in touch. Please know that both Ken and I are beyond words over your loss. Please accept our thoughts and our prayers and our great regret at not...

Laurie & Louis-08/30/08-A too-short window of joy that gave us a lifetime of wonderful memories. Thank you both. Rest in peace, sweet one.

Dear Louis,
You have my deepest sympathy during this hour of bereavement. I will always be indebted to Laurie for her kindness and support.

Gary L. Myers, Baltimore

Laurie was one of the most special people in the world. I am so lucky to have known her and to have been a part of her life. Her sweetness and encouragement and joy and love for all who knew her will stay with me forever and I am grateful that our paths shared the same road for the years we were together. I am so very saddened by her death and am blessed by her life.

Dear Louis, I was so shocked and saddened to hear abourt Laurie. Cheryl Crawley told me that she saw Laurie at the shop and that was such a nice surprise. I always enjoyed working with her--we laughed a lot and I will always remember how much fun she was and how much she loved you. My heart is heavy with this news (Lester Johnson just told me).
Again, my thoughts are with you.
Toby A Wolf--former dept. manager-SAKS

Laurie, my very dear and special friend, has accomplished with tremendous strength and grace what so many fail to do. Her destiny was to make those...
