Laurie was my next door neighbor. She was always such a kind and thoughtful person. She remembered me on my birthdays and special occasions. Laurie was a great friend to me. We met in first grade at Alta Vista. Our friendship was very dear to me through the years. Although life and circumstances drew us apart, we did in recent years reconnect. Laurie was my maid of honor at my wedding, held my hand through difficult times and laughed with me in happier times.
