Bailey & Foster Funeral Home - Palestine Obituary

Laurie Ann Wages Jones gained her wings and left her earth side home on February 11th after severe health problems.  Laurie was a friend to everyone, she never met a stranger and would talk for hours, she was very active in her church Broyles Chapel in Palestine and loved to shop till she dropped.  She went by Nana to her grandchildren and she loved them deeply and entirely.  Everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her, loved her and will miss her terribly.  Laurie was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Wages (Big Wanda) and her father, George Wages Sr.  Laurie leaves behind 3 children, Amy Trigg, Clay Carroll, and Clint Carroll along with her step daughter Tina Jones as well as her two brothers, George Wages Jr. and Brent Wages.  Her 7 grandchildren were the light of her life, Kamron, Kaleb, Everleigh, Emma, Izzy, Sarah and Ashley.  A memorial service to honor her life will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, march 11th at her church, Broyles Chapel in Palestine.
