Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Laurie's passing. I went to high school with her and had the privilige of singing in the choirs to her wonderful accompaniment. She was an amazing woman and I know she will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to her family and friends.

Laurie gave us so many years of wonderful music at the Newman Catholic Center at EIU. She was such a wonderful gift to us. Her ability to fill the air with such beauty will never be forgotten by me. Know of our community's prayers for Stuart, the Thacker and Kienlen families. May you know of God's gentle and healing embrace in your time of sorrow. Peace.

Laurie was one of my closest friends. I have many wonderful memories of her from high school, Eastern, and beyond. I will miss her very much, but always cherish the memories. My prayers are with her family and friends.

Laurie and I lived on the same floor of Taylor Hall at Eastern. Although I didn't really get to know her as well as I wanted, she was a very friendly person and will be missed by all who knew her. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Thacker and Kienlen families, and especially to Stuart. Even though it hurts to see her go, remember that Laurie is no longer in pain and is home with her heavenly Father.

I am Laurie's mom. I want everyone to know how much it means to us to read what you have written about her. It is wonderful to know she had so many caring friends who would take the time to send their thoughts and wishes. I'm sure that Laurie is smiling down on all of you. Please email me any time.

Laurie lived on the same floor in Taylor hall as I did while at Eastern and she was my ESA sister. I always loved to hear her laugh. She was a beautiful person inside and out. God bless Stu and the Thacker family, you are in my prayers.

I went to EIU with Laurie and was in ESA with her. She was a very sweet girl and she will be missed. It is always a shame to see someone so young leave us. My prayers go to her husband, family and friends.

Laurie will be greatly missed. I am so thankful to have met her at EIU & to be one of her ESA sisters. She looked beautiful in her wedding gown! My thoughts are with her family.

Laurie was a very loving person who will be missed very much. She was very talented in everything that she did. We will miss her uplifting musical sounds. I can remember all the fun times we had on our Pru Conference trips and will always cherish those memeries! We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
