Not sure what to say?

Steve, I am heartbroken as we can't come to laurie's memorial. I am having some serious health issues with my immune system and can barely walk. I will wear one of her shirts all day in remembrance of her. Things will get better. Larry and Dee

My Precious LaurieMitchell and Steve Jackman I write this with so much love and Joy that we became dearly loved friends. I'm so glad someone found your picture on my wall, it doesn't justify the true beauty that you always walked in and I will miss so much. Still I know you are with Our Sweet Jesus with no more pain and we will meet again in our canoes Holdinghands with him in the Center. I will think of you every day with LOVE, JOY AND THE PEACE you showed to all that you gave to ALL MY...

Laurie and I rooted for the same contestants on the Great British Baking Show. I tried to bring her lemon curd from London once, but customs confiscated it! I miss her. I am so happy we...

After meeting you briefly at Dave's funeral, our lives crossed again at Woodland with your wonderful Steve. It helped my grief to see you and Steve, and your joyous life together. You brought joy to everyone you met. I will forever remember our deep discussions which often ended up in giggles. I love your art, your word smithing, your warmth and your laughter. You are gone too soon and will be greatly missed by many. God's blessing and comfort Steve.

Laurie and I met at West High. In all the years following, I would see her various places and she always smiled and laughed. I loved her sense of humor. In high school we laughed about both having "Laurie" spelled the same way. (The right way, ha ha!) Others had the "Lori" spelling. Her happiness she shared so freely will be missed by all who knew her.

Although I never met Laurie, she was a good friend of my Mother's. My sister and I experienced Laurie's talent through several cards and shirts with her designs as gifts from Mom. This is truly a sad day for Laurie's family and those who called her friend. May she rest in peace.
