Laurie loved life she loved her family and children but most of all she loved Jesus

My thoughts and prayers are with the family! Laurie was one of the sweetest people I have ever know!

I got to know Laurie at The Claiborne, where my mother is a resident. Laurie was always so kind and sweet to her. Laurie went out of her way to make my mother feel special. On several occasions Laurie brought the youth group from her church to visit with the residents, which always brought big smiles to their faces and lifted their spirits. Laurie even brought cards signed by them for Mom´s birthday. It is a special gift to put others before yourself and to spread joy and to truly be the...

Laurie was one of my very wonderful computer students. She has been one of my favorite people to run in to. My spirits were always lifted when we saw each other. She loved people and children in particular. Her heart was felt when she smiled. You knew she was genuine to the core. I love Laurie and will always remember her being a special friend and student.

My condolences to this family and friends. Sending prayers and thoughts to you all. I had the privilege of working with Laurie at two different schools. She was funny, loving, and had a true passion for both the children and God. May she rest in peace.
