During my secondary school years the Purdy family served as a second family for me and Laurie served as a fabulous role model. Always upbeat and smiling; she will be missed by all who knew here. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Laurie's passing. I had her as a gym teacher in old Brick many years ago. I have so many wonderful of memories because of her. I will always remember her with great respect and fondness.

Jack and I have such fond memories of Laurie back in our days at PP Beach HS. We always enjoyed our time with the family on Baltimore Ave. swimming in the lake, and the time spent together. Our deepest sympathy to the family, Her mother and sisters.
