This news breaks our hearts. Through our connection to animals, we met Laurie. Laurie is a special soul who touched so many lives. It was deer that brought us together. Her compassion and dedication to helping animals was priceless. The animals now have a new angel watching over them. Our hearts go out to her family, especially Andreas who shared her passion. Please reach out anytime if you need anything. Sending hugs and prayers.

Andreas, please accept my deepest and most sincere sympathy on the loss of your wife. I know in the few times that Laurie and I spoke she was always pleasant and open. Knowing Laurie and memories of her is an honor. My friendship with her through the Ohl family always brought a smile to my face and a wish for more time with her. I am saddened by the void left with Andreas as well as with the balance of the O'Byrne and Ohl families. May the continued memories of Laurie be a blessing. My heartfelt condolences. Alan C Verbit
