Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to the family for your loss. Mrs Pieterse was my English teacher throughout my hs years at Classical hs (80). I remember her well standing there cracking her gum and telling me in paper after paper that I could do better - and she wouldnt accept it until it was better. She was the parental figure I lacked at home, and I often stopped by her room to gab after school. She was brilliant, funny, thoughtful. I had hoped to find the time to go out to Longmeadow to visit and...

To David & the Pieterse family,

I will never forget the nice talks I had with your mom about life during our college years. She was a remarkable lady and a great role model for young women. My condolences to your family at this difficult time. My prayers are with you and your family.

My condolences to the Pieterse family. She too was my homeroom and English teacher at Classical High School. I have fond memories of having Mrs. Pieterse. As an English teacher, she loved teaching, and read to our class often. I looked forward to having her read to the class. English wasn't my best subject then. She encouraged me and gave me confidence to be a better writer. She was an incredible teacher.

We are very sorry to hear about this. What a great lady and great family. Very kind and considerate and always interested in what other people were doing. Thinking of the whole family. Please know that you are in your thoughts.

So sad seeing this, she was my homeroom and English teacher at FPJH,in 1965. I was 9th grade class president, but admittedly not a very good student. I was immature and goofed around a lot of times in class. She could never understand how I won that election and ribbed me about it for a long time. She was a tough and fair teacher, made me buckle down many times. I learned much from her, for which I am eternally grateful. My condolences to her family and those who knew her. Godspeed Mrs....

My Condolences to the Pieterse Family.. She was my English teacher at Classical High School. I have never forgotten her through the years due to the impression she left on my life.. I was very fond of her her.. I had never forgotten her in 35 years.. Rest in Peace.. May God keep you strong during this difficult time

Charlie, Jim, and family, please accept my sincere condolences. Your mom made an impression on me at Classical that has stayed with me all these years later, and you were all great neighbors when we lived on Washington Rd.

Laurie Jane, good neighbor, good friend, never reticent from offering an opinion, certainly will be missed.
