Laurie Ann (Keement) Sidney of Newport beloved wife of Elwin (Bub) Sidney III passed away peacefully on May 13,2017 with her family by her side after her long battle of cancer. She was born on May 2, 1961 in Newport VT.



 



On May 1, 2011 she married Elwin (Bub) Sidney III. She is survived by her mother Sadie Watters of Morgan, VT, her children, Jennifer McAllister and her husband Shaun, Kevin Pion and his partner Monica Carpenter, Jeremy Pion and his partner Nicole Jaycox, stepson Elwin Sidney IV, and stepdaughter Amanda Meunier and her husband Jonathan. Her grandchildren Meadow, Hunter, Austen, Hannah, Kyle, McKayla, Taylor, Arianna, Alexis, Abby, and Julia. Her siblings Ila and Starlyn Chilafoux, Linda and John Kudla, Debbie and Francis Chaput, Mary and Bernie Lantagne, John and Kerry Keement. Several special nieces and nephews and friends.



 



She was predeceased by her father John Lawrence Keement Sr., and her grandson Casey Jeremy Rodriguez-Camp.



Laurie enjoyed working in the public with people such as at The Brown Cow, Peebles and Maurices. She enjoyed selling 50/50 tickets at White Mountain Motorsports Park.



 



Laurie loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, family, friends, camping, riding motorcycle



A celebration of Laurie’s life will take place on Saturday May 20th, 2017 at 10:00 am at the American Legion in Newport, VT. Officiating the service will be Pastor Laurence Wall. A gathering will follow the service.

Laurie was such a wonderful woman we'll all miss her greatly. She was always there for me like another mother and you guys welcome to me into your life. Iwill miss her and will keep your family in my prayers. I just remember the good times.
