Not sure what to say?

I worked with this talented and dear friend for many Year s at Old Sturbridge Village. She also performed with me in our 19th magic show as Mrs. Potter. She was an amazing teacher of history at the Village. I loved her as a dear and gentle friend. May God bless her and keep her in His love forever. Robert Olson

So sorry to hear of Laurie´s passing- I worked with her at OSV and remember her ready laugh and gorgeous weaving & knitting. She loved history and sharing her insight with others. She was also a great singer & dancer. So sorry to have lost touch with her lately, but she was an integral part of the OSV family and it was a great joy to have known her!

Dear David and Pam, I am so sorry to hear of Laurie´s passing. I enjoyed having her participate in Holiday shows where she brought her beautiful towels..and really enjoyed her company. Everyone "Loved" her towels. I still have many and remember her every time I use them. She always filled me in on the property up North. I loved all the stories and hearing about the history and current plans. I caught my first fish in one of the small lakes there. It was a walleye! I have nothing but fond...

Now she can team up with Hal, Tina, Liz, Rob and mom to play trivial pursuit! I'm so glad that Laurie shared her love of nature with us over the years. We have so many sweet reminders. From the comfrey, rock cress and wild geraniums she gave us to plant in our yard to the amazing poster map of Middle Earth that we have framed...

As the big sister of my great friend David Laurie was a somewhat mysterious presence when we were in elementary school. But as time passed she became a good friend, and one who provided essential access to the "grown up" world for friends of David. I have fond memories of stopping off at Central to visit Laurie at Central Michigan University. She was always warm and welcoming, and would buy "the boys" beer and cigarettes as we are on our way to Hickory Hill for a weekend in the woods. ...
