Not sure what to say?

Lauro, wish I called more the past few years, but I dont need a phone to talk to you now. Been thinking of you every day, and so glad you were a part of my life. When I get to the other side, we can catch up more my dear brother. Hey, did you see how AC Milan blew a two goal lead in the final 4 minutes in the Champions League?! Man oh man oh man!

Love, Zoff

Although I couldn't attend the funeral mass today, I was praying for all of your family. I loved Lauro's smile! He spread God's Love whenever he smiled. I will pray for his soul and that with time, the happy memories will overshadow your sadness.
love,
Kathy Hardy

We just heard about Lauro's passing and are sad for all of you in your loss. May your happy memories be with you, and may you all feel HIS peace.

Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with the entire Pizzuto family. I think one of the basic worries of departing this world, is that you will be forgotten. Please know that dear Lauro will always be fondly remembered in our hearts...What a smile! ...What a laugh!...What a genuine person. We pray peace be with you all very soon.

It's overwhelming how much of my life is shaped and reflected by my friend Lauro. Music, art, literature.... life! He loved Kipling verse... "East is east and west is west, and never the twain shall meet, 'til earth and sky stand presently at God's great judgement seat. For there is neither east nor west, nor border nor breed nor birth, when two strong men stand face to face, though they come from the ends of the earth."
Ciao my friend,
Rory

Lauro, among your many talents, I've always loved and admired your ability to teach. You were such a wealth of knowledge on the topics I love - baseball, football, all things Italian and our faith. As my Confirmation sponsor, we studied and prayed together. Some of my fondest memories with you are sharing Pizzuto's pizza at the Kingdome, getting coffee at Starbucks with my Dad, discussing churches in Roma and talking sports. I'll always miss your sharp wit, your storytelling and your big...

I'm so sorry for your loss. Senor Pizzuto was not only a good teacher, but a dear soul. I only have warm memories of your father and husband. He was always positive and just plain nice. I can only imagine the kind of father he was because he was a wonderful role model to us students. I will never forget his infectious smile, even amongst the stress of our crazy public school. I pray your hearts are eased with beautiful memories...Vaya Con Dios profesor!

Lauro was a great coach and motivator and a big fan. It was always fun to sit in the stands with him watching our sons on the field or court. His perseverance and faith these last few years has been an inspiration to me and others.

Our prayers and condolences to his loving family. Rest in Peace Lauro,

A great man, and mentor. I had the pleasure of being around you on the soccer field for a brief while, and then in life you were always there for me. I will miss you. Love, Zoff
