Not sure what to say?

We will all miss you

Debra and Diane, my sympathy to your families for the loss of your sister, La Vada.
Shirley Goehring, Lodi

Lavada, You will be forever in my memory.I shall always remember the kindness and suport you extended to me prior to the loss of my beloved Kenneth.

Dear LaVada,
Since I'm the youngest of 10 in my family, that makes me five years older than you. You being the oldest of 9. We go back a long way from down on Race Track in Spiro, Oklahoma. Since you was the oldest you got to ride up on the spring seat of the wagon and I drove the team of mules that pulled the wagon. We was moving your mom and dad down to Aunt Sarah and Uncle Alvin home that they moved from. I always thought you had the prettiest hands and nails, I used to polish them...

Aunt LaVada was a wonderful woman. I can count on one hand how many times I saw her without a smile. If there was a family gathering in the works, we could count on Aunt LaVada to have the potato salad, which no one else knew better to bring, her smiles, and her loving hugs. Aunt LaVada, you are very loved and you will be dearly missed.
Your loving Niece, Erica (Sherfield) Starr & Family

I keep fond memories of LaVada in my heart, and I will always remember with gratitude how she helped me and gave me good advice when I first came to PYA. Her family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Our love and prayers go out to the family, Aunt LaVada did make the best potatoe salad ,and for as long as I can remember she was always full of laughter , you will alwayes be in our hearts.

Aunt Lavada was one of the nicest people I have ever met. It was always nice to visit with her. You knew she would have great family stories, a wonderful laugh and smile, and always helpful hints about cooking and gardening. (And the worlds best potato salad.) When I was little she always reminded me of Mary Tyler Moore.
What a great role model to all the Sherfield family, and to all of the others who were honored to know her.
Love, Willie, Lisa and Haylee

I will miss her dearly. My condolences to all.I'll really miss her potatoe salad.God Bless.
