Laveda was so very Dear to me. She was my second Mother.
I spent so much time with her. We laughed & cried together.
I met Laveda in 1966. My mother-in-law Edith McClosky , & Laveda were best friends.
I remember laveda most for her love & her positive attitude.
I would call her up and say Laveda, do you want to go out today. She was always ready, eventho, I know sometimes she didn't feel like it.
I loved her so much, & always loved being with her.

I met LaVeda through her daughter Sherry. LaVeda had the most class, poise and dignity of anyone I have ever met. We became friends and I was blessed to have known her. May she rest in peace.
