I knew Vern from Reformed Bibe College (RBI). Vern was my sponsor when I first enrolled as a student. He was a Senior and I was coming in after selling our house in Kalamazoo. I was married, with two children. Vern invited me to his house and made me feel good about my decision to come to RBI. I thank you, his family, for sharing him with me. I dropped out after 2 years but went back and graduated in 1998. I became a pastor in 2005 and was at my one and only church for 7...

Jack and I were married by your dad. He and your mom have always held a special place in my heart. Thinking of you all during this time of sadness and loss.

So very sorry about Mr. Haas passing. I remember him well from going to school with his daughters.

Our sympathy to you girls and your families, especially Jeanne and Mary. So many good memories of his ministry at Little Farms CRC in Marne, MI and even in Brewton, AL with the students one weekend. We love you all.
