Lavern Eldon Krueger

I am so sorry for the Krueger Family´s loss. Howie was one of the most dedicated, hardest working, and successful professors at the Bloch School. He had one of, if not the strongest commitments to his students and the quality of UMKC's accounting program. His dedication and successes were extraordinary! His retirement was a great loss to the Accounting program, and his passing a great loss to his family and friends.

Mr. Krueger's name clicked to me this morning so I read about his wonderful life and realized he taught two accounting classes that I took as requirements for my 1973 BA in Economics from UMKC. His great teaching manner came right back to me and I am grateful to those better profs, like Dr. Krueger, who were natural at instilling their wealth of knowledge in my eager mind.
